Eger, the town of wines, is situated 150 km from Budapest. The most famous wine of the region is the Bull's Blood of Eger.

Eger is one of the nicest baroque towns with an interesting history of the Turkish times. Here you can see the northernmost Turkish monuments of the world (minaret). Its medieval castle is in the heart of the town. The cathedral of Eger is the third biggest church in Hungary. It's worth listening to an organ concert inside.

In the Beautiful Lady's Valley you can taste the best Hungarian wines accompanied by typical meals. The surroundings of Eger are popular excursion destinations for Hungarians which can be interesting for our guests too ( Szilvásvárad, Bélapátfalva ). The program includes a coach drive to Eger, then a walking sightseeing tour including the medieval castle and monuments of the Turkish period (16th - 17th centuries). For groups even an organ concert in the Cathedral of the town. Lunch with wine tasting in a good restaurant.
